Beer Name: Little Hump Pale Ale
Brewery: Highland Brewing Company
Style: American Pale Ale
Average Score: 90/100
ABV%: 4.5

What it looks like:

Golden straw color with tight tiny bubbles slowly climbing to the surface. Small thin white head that fell quickly.

Appearance Score: 10

What is smells like:

Smells juicy hop forward, piney, and catty , with biscuit. An aroma that smells creamy to me, likely derived from the yeast.

Aroma Score: 25

What is tastes like:

Surprisingly light, with a very resinous hop forward punch, followed closely by a dry malt finish. I also receive a fruity flavor mid sip and post swallow.

Taste Score: 40

Mouthfeel:

Snappy crisp, and dry throughout. Light bodied. Very fitting of a Pils style rather than an APA.

Mouthfeel Score: 15

Overall Notes:

I cannot find any flaws in this beer, much lighter than expected compared to the huge APA’s we typically see in the craft beer scene. Well built and sexy like Scarlett Johansson, reminds me of a much hoppier Pils. Refreshing and session-able at only 4.5%. Great Golf Beer. Well Done
